The confirmation comes weeks after rumors started of the two dating when Stone appeared on SNL’s season premiere. People confirmed the news as well and reports the two have been together for at least three months. They met in December last year when Stone starred in the "Wells for Boys" sketch that McCary directed while she while she was hosting SNL. Stone — who stars as Billie Jean King in “Battle of the Sexes” — hosted the NBC comedy sketch show last December, but she also appeared as a surprise guest this month for its season premiere when her “La La Land” co-star Ryan Gosling hosted.
She then attended the afterparty at hotspot Tao.McCary’s worked at “SNL” since 2014.The 32-year-old also directed this year’s quirky indie movie, “Brigsby Bear,” starring “SNL” comic Kyle Mooney, who’s also a childhood pal. McCary and Stone were spotted together at the movie’s premiere in June.
